What is
Blue Gold Week ?
A true signature of Provence, the Lavender plant has been harvested in the region for generations. Its balancing scent and distinct colour have earned it the nickname of 'Blue Gold'.
As such, Blue Gold Week celebrates the harvest that takes place from late July to August , when the precious essential oils of
the Lavender rise, and the sprigs are picked just before they bloom to allow for the strongest fragrance.
