Highland Park's Cask Strength Release No. 4 is a testament to the distillery's commitment to blending tradition with innovation in the art of whisky making. Nestled in the heart of the Orkney Islands, Highland Park stands as one of Scotland's most remote and distinguished distilleries, with a history that stretches back to 1798. Its unique location is key to its distinctive character, where the harsh climate and abundant heathery peat combine to create a range of whiskies that are as complex as they are captivating.
This fourth release in the Cask Strength series is a bold exploration of flavour, matured in an intricate mix of cask types. Predominantly aged in first-fill sherry seasoned European oak casks and first-fill sherry seasoned American oak casks, it also incorporates whisky from a small number of refill casks, ex-bourbon casks, and, for the first time, ex-port casks. This diverse ageing process lends the whisky a depth and complexity that is truly remarkable. Bottled straight from the cask, without dilution, it offers an unadulterated experience of Highland Park's robust and multifaceted spirit.

Based in Kirkwall on the island of Orkney, Highland Park is Scotland’s most northerly distillery – beating Scapa by just half a mile. It is well-renowned amongst whisky enthusiasts and is one of the most collectible brands on the market; commonly commanding some of the highest prices at auction.
Highland Park is known for its complex and peaty profile. Their whiskies exhibit notes of smoke, heather and honey, as well as hints of citrus and spice. They are typically matured in ex-sherry casks, although European and American oak casks may also be used.
