Bottled at a distinct 43.8% ABV, this expression is matured in an exceptional blend of casks: American Virgin Oak, Islay Quarter Casks, and First Fill Bourbon barrels, a selection designed to infuse the whisky with a layered complexity.
The Embra's maturation process in American Virgin Oak introduces vibrant freshness and spice, Islay Quarter Casks add profound peaty undertones, and First Fill Bourbon barrels offer smooth, sweet notes. Adhering to Holyrood Distillery's commitment to authenticity, the Embra boasts a natural colour, and is bottled without chill-filtration, preserving the whisky's inherent flavours, oils, and textures, promising an sensational tasting experience.

NOSE:
