A truly superb single malt from the Glenfarclas distillery, aged for 30 years. Three decades of maturation have resulted in a fantastically full-bodied, satisfyingly Sherried and all-around exceptional flavour profile. Now presented with a box designed as an homage to the unmistakable red doors of the Glenfarclas warehouse.

NOSE: Dense dark chocolate, cigar box, and raisin emerge initially, followed by hints of old oak furniture (with some leather notes, too!). After a few minutes, touches of Cognac-like rancio appear.
PALATE: Continues with Christmas cake elements, accompanied by a pinch of tobacco. Chocolate orange brownies, coffee beans, and chewy dried fruit add to the richness. Sparks of cinnamon and black pepper in the background bring comforting warmth to the palate.
FINISH: A long finish, boasting thick notes of sherry and butterscotch. Seville orange marmalade and ginger develop later.
