The winning submission will receive a £5000 grant to help make their project and the final film will be premiered at the film festival.

Brought together by their love of the sea and passion for diving, Finisterre photographer Abbi Hughes and a crew of water women set out to the crystal clear waters of the Red Sea. A mix of award winning underwater photographers and record holding freedivers, they explored from surface to sea floor, even meeting some of the locals.
Surfer and writer, Pete Geall, makes the most of the southern hemisphere's summer solstice. Taking a chance and rolling the dice on a slim chance, he rose with the dawn on the longest day of the year to score uncrowded perfect waves.
