Road improvements in Melton
Road in Melton
Work to improve the road and drainage in Melton commenced on Thursday 22 February and will be carried out overnight for three weeks. Most of the work will take place between 7pm and 5am to reduce disruption to residents and businesses. The work is being carried out between the Gibson Lane south roundabout and the Melton railway crossing.

East Riding councillors have voted 53-1 in favour of the motion to withdraw from conversations about the possibility of a nuclear geological disposal facility (GDF) being built in South Holderness.
