What happens to paper when you recycle it?

East Herts and North Herts Councils' Shared Waste Service has launched a video to promote paper recycling, highlight the importance of separating out paper from other types of recycling, and show what happens once your paper recycling box has been emptied.

Our recycling mascot, Paige, talks you through why it's worth recycling paper. It's not just beneficial for the environment but it also helps us keep the costs of running services down since we get income from the resale of the paper.
