With the spring in full swing things are getting busier at Woodlands and we look forward to telling you more next time.
We have a new free seated exercise class which has been funded by the EHDC Get up and Go scheme! This is held on Tuesday mornings from 10.30-11.30am and will be running until 11 June.
This is for anyone who would like to do some gentle exercise in a small friendly class. It is run by Ramona who runs other classes here already. You don’t need any equipment just comfortable clothes and a bottle of water - come along and give it a try! See below for more information on how to join in.

It feels like this year is flying by - soon the *Dementia Friends Information Session *will be happening here at the Karma Cafe on *May 16. *
This is going to be a really useful (and free) session with a representative from the Alzheimer's Society and other local organisations. Whether you know someone with dementia or not, you are welcome to come along and find out more. Details on booking are below!

Dementia Friends Information Session
*Coming up on Thursday May 16 at 10am*
Join us at the Karma Café for a 1-hour Dementia Friends session delivered by an Alzheimer's Society Ambassador teaching about dementia, its impact, and how to support those affected.
There will also be supporters from other local services on hand to tell you about their Dementia friendly initiatives and what support they can offer.

Pilates for Mental Health

Do you know someone with low mood or anxiety? We have a FREE chair-based Pilates class for those who want to exercise in a safe, friendly and supportive environment.

Walk N Talk
A new regular Walk N Talk will be starting here from 9 May! Timings are still to be confirmed, so keep an eye on our Facebook page or give us an email to check, but these should link in with our Karma Cafe timings, so you can finish your walk with a nice hot drink.
