The Karma Café has bloomed over the last few weeks - we're working on a timetable of different speakers and activities and hope to update you soon!

The weather is starting to warm up and the clocks will be going forward at the end of this month so it finally feels like spring is really here!
Woodlands has got all of its usual activities going on – the *Karma Café* is now a regular feature on Thursday mornings. Chimé Carlin the local social prescriber is working on a programme of various ‘guests’ to come along to give advice on a range of topics – keep checking out our facebook page for the next event. We had Karen Wright from CAB here yesterday who gave advice about different benefits depending on circumstances, fuel bills and help with food costs.
Hope to see you all out and about – the nature reserve is just coming into its best now spring is here!

As some of you may know I have been in the process of moving over the last month or so. I am now living in Devon but will still be doing some remote work for Woodlands until the end of June - mainly looking after this email bulletin and our Facebook page.
I had a lovely send off with lots of well wishes from many of our regular visitors. I'm missing the buzz of working at Woodlands and seeing all the familiar faces!
Nicky and I are really pleased to *welcome Inna* to the Woodlands Hall team! Inna will be covering the building for some of the evening and weekend activities here which will be a great help.

Want to meet others in a calm, safe space? Drop in for a quiet coffee and chat with friendly people of similar interests. Plus take the chance to speak to your local GP Social Prescribing Link Worker and discover the support services available. No appointment necessary.
Every Thursday 10am - 12noon here at Woodlands Hall.
We're currently establishing a timetable of speakers and activities for various café sessions - watch this space for more information!

Woodlands' Wrigglers - Spring Term
Woodlands' Wrigglers runs term-time Mondays 10-11.30am with toys, soft play and a different activity each week.
Join us for £2 per child, suitable for ages 0-4. Our next dates and activities are:
18 March - Dry Sensory Tray
25 March - Ball Pit
15 April - Homemade Playdough
29 April - Rubber Band Rescue

Adaptable Exercise

If you're looking for an exercise class to help improve your strength, flexibility and balance then we have three different Pilates classes for you to try!
Join Ramona for Pilates Fusion Tuesdays at 6pm and Wednesdays at 10am, or for Chair Pilates on Wednesdays at 11.30am.
All of these classes are adaptable to your needs and strengths - exercises can be made easier or harder depending on your skill level. If you would like to speak with Ramona beforehand to talk about your abilities, you can email her at ramonabryson@hotmail.com
