A message from Cllr Richard Millard, EHDC Leader
Corporate strategy 2020-2024 – What we've delivered
I am delighted to share this infographic with you which highlights some of the many achievements we have delivered as part of our Corporate Strategy 2020-2024.
*What we have delivered infographic* [
]
I am hugely proud of these achievements - there are far too many individual outcomes for me to mention every single one, but the infographic gives a snapshot of what has been achieved for each of our priorities.
The work we've done demonstrates the real, tangible, positive differences we make to our residents and businesses across the district.
These successes are a fantastic showcase of what we're capable of and demonstrate the sheer scale of what we can deliver.
We are now setting our new corporate strategy and look forward to delivering even more for you.

New EHDC Chairman elected
Introducing the new Chairman of East Hampshire District Council, Cllr Catherine Clark, who takes up the role for our historic 50th year.
Cllr Clark was elected as Chairman at a Full Council meeting on Thursday 16 May 2024, alongside Cllr Graham Hill, elected as Vice Chairman.
As Chairman, she will be visiting groups and organisations right across East Hampshire, as well as representing the district in other areas.
On taking up the role Cllr Clark said: "I am looking forward to my year as Chairman of EHDC, especially as it's such a special year as we celebrate our 50th anniversary of the council. I can't wait to get out and meet the residents in our area at the many events that are organised each year."
Did you know you can invite the Chairman to visit your event or group?

tbd brownfield land
Calling for brownfield sites
Do you know of brownfield land that is suitable and available for development?
We believe that brownfield land must be the priority for development. To make sure we have considered all possibilities, we are running a 'Call for Brownfield Sites'.
This is your opportunity to let us know about those sites that you think could deliver development in our planning area (outside of the South Downs National Park). You have until Friday 7 June to give us your suggestions.
As well as brownfield sites, we would like to receive suggestions for land for Traveller and Travelling Showpeople accommodation and Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG).

This amazing opportunity is part of a push to help people live healthier and more active lifestyles, as well as showing how easy it is to cycle around the town.

Whitehill & Bordon’s Green Loop is an award-winning network of paths that criss-cross through and around the town. At 7km long it connects areas of interest and local beauty, including the Hogmoor Inclosure, The Shed and Quebec Terrace.
The flat terrain and clear signposting make it the perfect safe, fun and family-friendly way to get some exercise and spend time together outdoors.
