With the weather changing (hopefully) and a few more sunny weekends on the way (fingers crossed), some of you will be getting twitchy about getting the lawnmower out of the shed and going for the first cut of the year.
But if you can resist, nature will thank you for it.
Mowing your lawn less saves you time and makes a big difference to the wildlife in your garden. Create a mini jungle for beetles and other small creatures to wander and where Sparrows and Goldfinches can come to feed on the seeds.
