PeCAN seed swap
Get your garden growing with Petersfield's seed swap
Get more variety into your garden with a seed swap this weekend in Petersfield.
Held on Saturday 9 March, from 10am-2pm, the event gives budding gardeners the chance to bring in seeds and seedlings and exchange them with other growers.
As part of EHDC’s Grow Up programme, we have part funded the event run by Petersfield's Shine Radio and Growing Together Podcast.
Come along to the Winton House Centre, on the High Street, in Petersfield and swap seeds, try something new, meet fellow gardeners and get gardening advice from experts and local organisations.
The event will include workshops on planting, allotment planning and flower cutting and there will be activities alongside the swapping of seeds, bulbs and plants.
A seed sowing corner will give children the chance to plant their first seed in a pot and take it home with them to watch it grow, nurturing a budding love of gardening.
A number of community groups, businesses and school clubs will be attending such as PeCAN, Petersfield & District Beekeepers Association, Petersfield Physic Garden, Petersfield Community Garden, Men's Shed, Petersfield in Bloom and many more.
