Apply now for photo ID for the July general election
If you’re planning to vote in person in the 4 July general election and don’t have an appropriate form of photo ID [
] already, you need to apply for a free Voter Authority Certificate now.

These certificates or another form of valid photo ID will need to be shown at the polling station. You’ll need to apply by 5pm on 26 June 2024 to get a Voter Authority Certificate for the General Election on 4 July 2024.
