Meet the author Kristen Perrin

We are delighted that debut author Kristen Perrin will be joining us at Bridport Library for an 'In Conversation' event on 5 April. Kristen's exciting new novel 'How to solve your own murder' has been listed as one of the most anticipated books of the year by Goodreads and is the Quercus books breakout novel for 2024.
Set in the fictional village of Castle Knoll in Dorset, (which has more than a passing resemblance to Corfe Castle), 'How to solve your own murder' is a cosy murder mystery with a twist and is a great read for fans of Agatha Christie and 'Knives out'.
During the event we will find out about Kristen's early influences, inspiration and writing process. Everybody is welcome.

Take part in Reading Hour on 23 April

Since 2021, the #ReadingHour has been at the centre of World Book Night celebrations. From 7pm to 8pm on 23 April, people across the UK dedicate time to reading. You can do this in lots of different ways; reading alone, having a book club meeting, listening to an audiobook, or reading to children at bedtime to make it a family activity.  It doesn’t need to be the whole hour, but try to carve out some time for yourself to spend reading.
Take a look at the events listing and see what Swanage Library and Wareham Library will be doing to celebrate. More events are being added all the time, so do check in regularly.
