The elections are just over a week away
Here's all you need to know!
* On* May 2* there are elections for *local councillors in Dudley borough, West Midlands Mayor and Police Crime Commissioner.*
* *You need photo ID if you want to vote at a polling station*. You can use your passport, driving licence or other form of photo ID. A full list is available on our website [

* *If you haven't got photo ID* you have until tomorrow (April 24) at 5pm to ask for a voter authority certificate, which works in the same way. You can apply online quickly and easily [
]
* If you're *voting by post*, it's best to use the postal service. New rules mean we cannot accept the completed ballot papers without a signature.
* You can vote for up to three candidates on your local ballot paper (lilac colour), one candidate on your police crime commissioner ballot paper (green colour) and one candidate on your WM Mayor ballot paper (yellow colour).
