There's still time to register to vote!
On May 2 voters will be heading to the polls for the local, West Midlands Mayor and Police Crime Commissioner (PCC) elections.
*But you can't vote unless you're registered.*
It's quick and easy to do online by April 16 and means you can have your say in the democratic process. If you're already registered there's no need to do it twice.

* *Polling day is May 2*.
* If you're registered, you will receive two poll cards this year [
], following the late government announcement about the PCC election.
* *You must have photo ID* if you want to vote at a polling station. There's a full list of approved forms on our website. [

* If you don't have an acceptable form of ID you can *apply for a free voter authority certificate (VAC)*. That must be done online [
] before 5pm on April 24.
* You can register for a postal vote by April 17. It can be done online [
] and you don't need ID to vote in this way.
