Estate walkabouts
What are Estate Walkabouts?
Our estates are visited each year by your Housing Officer and other stakeholders such as Councillors, Mears, DDC Maintenance Officers, DDC Waste Team, DDC Parks and Open Spaces Team, KCC Wardens, Kent Police and Kent Fire and Rescue Service.
This walkabout event is a chance for everyone to come together and help identify and solve issues, working in partnership in addition to estate grading undertaken by the local Housing Officer. This gives us a chance to see how different elements are in comparison with other areas to help to improve estates across the district.
*We encourage Tenants, Leaseholders and local residents to attend as it helps us hear from those who live in the area, YOU are the local experts who can help steer improvements.*

The Garden Competition is back soon!
*Dust of your dibblers and plant some pansies, the Garden Competition is BACK SOON!*
Our annual garden competition [
] is back again this year, and we can't wait to see and celebrate all your lovely spaces, both big and small.
We will be judging the competition in July/August time and will be holding a prize giving ceremony in August.
We will be advertising the competition when we open for entries, so please keep an eye out if you'd like to enter this year.
