Summer Staycation is back!
Summer is a time for everyone - and Staycation is making a comeback thanks to the support from the Mayor’s fund.
We have an exciting line-up of activities to keep the kids entertained throughout the school holidays. From primary school children to post-16, there's something for everyone – whether it's football camps, arts and crafts, or even mystery trails, you’ll find something for your child or young person!
South Yorkshire to host 2024 Tour of Britain Men Stage - including Doncaster
The Lloyds Bank Tour of Britain Men will return to South Yorkshire for the first time in almost 20 years this September, as South Yorkshire gears up to hold the third stage of Britain’s national Tour.
Stage three of the race, on Thursday 5 September, will head from Sheffield to Barnsley, taking in Rotherham and Doncaster during the route. The race last came to South Yorkshire in 2007 when a stage started from Rother Valley Country Park.

Parents and carers – we want to hear from you
We are planning childcare needs across Doncaster to ensure we have enough provision for our families in the future.
This year we would like to ensure our reach to parents is as wide as we can get it to ensure we are capturing views from across the Borough, and also a significant amount of the population.
We are interested in your childcare situation and what your future needs may be.
Please complete this survey and help us plan and support the childcare provision in Doncaster:
The survey will help us to understand the childcare needs across Doncaster moving forward and support the production of our Annual Childcare Sufficiency Assessment.
Euro 2024: Domestic Abuse Awareness
Research from the 2022 World Cup showed that reports of domestic abuse can rise up to 38% when the men's national team play.
As tensions rise for this weekend's final, please remember that if you're concerned about your safety, call 101 or in an emergency ALWAYS call 999.
