Your Life Your Way
We want everyone in Doncaster to get the right support to be happy and healthy…and information that is easy to find and understand helps people to make choices and decisions about their lives.
New web pages are now available to help you find the right information, advice and guidance about living well in Doncaster:
Follow City of Doncaster Council on WhatsApp
You can now get City of Doncaster Council updates direct to your phone by following our channel on WhatsApp!
Visit WhatsApp to join our channel or scan our QR code and ‘follow’ us.
Don’t forget to turn on your notifications by clicking the bell in the top right corner, so you know when we’ve sent a new update.
A channel is slightly different to what you might be used to on WhatsApp; it’s a one-way conversation which means followers can’t reply to messages and your number won’t be visible to anyone either.
Volunteers Week 2024
A huge thank you to all our volunteers across Doncaster for their passion, enthusiasm and commitment to contributing to the wellbeing of our communities.
As we mark the 40th anniversary of National Volunteers’ Week, we want to recognise and celebrate volunteering and the massive impact it has on our people, place and planet.
Please consider volunteering and look at the opportunities available in your area. And don’t forget to sign up to the Choose kindness pledge at:

Putting carers on the map
Next week is National Carers Week where we’ll be raising awareness of caring, highlighting the challenges unpaid carers face and recognising the contribution they make to families and communities across Doncaster.
The Doncaster Carers’ Wellbeing Service is holding a special drop in event on Friday 14 June at Armthorpe Community Centre, between 12pm - 7pm, to recognise our unpaid carers and provide all the latest information, support and advice that’s available.
If you can’t make this event, and you are an unpaid carer for a loved one, relative or neighbour, then please contact the Doncaster Carers Wellbeing Service if you think you need help and support.
You've received this email because you were signed up for email updates from City of Doncaster Council, if you don't want to receive them any more just click on the 'manage preferences' link below.
