New business to land in Doncaster
Mayor of Doncaster Ros Jones, has announced that an agreement is in place for a major new Airlander 10 production centre to be built at Carcroft Common site.
Hybrid Air Vehicles’ plans for Doncaster will create a £1bn+ per annum export business, over 1,200 high-value green jobs and new supply chains within the South Yorkshire Investment Zone.

Reycling Right this Easter
From Easter egg boxes to grass clippings from the garden, we will all have different types of waste in our homes this Easter.
That's why its important to know what item goes in what bin so we can recycle right this bank holiday and beyond.

Bank Holiday: Council Services
Bank Holiday Bin Collections
Bin collections will continue as normal over the bank holiday weekend.
Please check your calendar for your bin collection day, or online.
Household Waste Recycling Centres
All 6 of Doncaster’s Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs) will continue with business hours over the Easter weekend (Conisbrough & Hatfield will be closed on Good Friday).
All sites will have extended opening hours from Monday 1 April, meaning that they will remain open until 7pm, providing residents with more opportunity to dispose of their waste. You can find further information here.
Domestic Abuse Hub
The Domestic Abuse hub will be closed from Friday 29 March until 9am on Tuesday 2 April. If you need support when the hub is closed there will be help available from the following national organisations:
- National 24/7 Domestic Abuse Helpline: 0808 2000 24
- Men’s Respect Helpline: 0808 801 0327
- 24/7 National Rape Helpline: 0808 500 2222
- Police 111 or in an emergency 999, if you are unable to speak press 55 to alert the operator.
