Our Recycling Centre passes are going digital!

If you need a pass to visit one of our Recycling Centre sites, also known as Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs), you can now *do it all online. [
]*
Residents can sign up for their free account online. [
]
*A pass is not required for residents visiting our HWRC sites in their personal cars.*
You’ll need to apply for a pass for the following:
* *Vehicle Pass* – for medium to large vans or a car towing a trailer
* *Pedestrian Pass* – if you are walking, using a bus, bicycle, or mobility scooter to travel to site
* *Booking* – for one-off visits in exceptional circumstances, to visit site with a Pedestrian Pass or to dispose of asbestos
The digital pass system will mean that residents no longer need a permit windscreen badge to visit recycling centres once registered. Instead, ANPR technology will be used for an automated pass scheme.
