This role involves working in Business Doncaster, the Council's economic development unit to lead Business Doncaster’s approach to the development of the retail and leisure sector in Doncaster.
Working in conjunction with public and private partners, the postholder is expected to actively contribute towards Council outcomes in relation to generating new investment.

Sector Growth Officer Low Carbon
This role involves working in Business Doncaster, the Council's economic development unit to lead Business Doncaster’s approach to the low carbon sector, driving the attraction of low carbon businesses to Doncaster, and supporting existing businesses to accelerate their decarbonisation plans to deliver new investment and job creation.

Drainage Maintenance Engineer
The Flood Risk is an imperative section of the council and has an interesting and challenging workload in reducing flooding across the borough.
As a member of the Flood Risk Team, you will be involved in a variety of work areas including design and construction of flood alleviation schemes, drainage response to planning applications.

Support Tutors
The Virtual School Language Support team support vulnerable children in both primary and secondary school education to raise their attainment and reach their full potential.
This role is peripatetic and involves working across the Doncaster borough. The role will monitor and support the overall progress and development of vulnerable pupils. Initially the post is on a casual basis, however, there may be opportunities for regular contracted work.

We are looking for someone who is ambitious, motivated and proactive to join us in the role of Fundraising & Development Assistant.
