In your various voluntary and community roles, you're Choosing Kindness every day so let's shout about it!
And as it's the 40th anniversary of Volunteers' Week, we'd like to say a big Happy Volunteers' Week to you all and thank you for the time and energy you give to volunteering!
As we're sure you're aware, the Choose Kindness movement launched in Doncaster last year, championing the power of kindness and celebrating the rich diversity of our local people and communities.
The movement emphasises the power of kindness and how no matter how big or small, one kind act can impact on everyone’s wellbeing, forging closer bonds across communities and enhancing Doncaster as a vibrant and welcoming city for all.
We're proud of all the fantastic and dedicated voluntary and community groups that are making a difference to our communities day in, day out. All shining examples of people Choosing Kindness across Doncaster. We would love to see as many of you as possible signing the Choose Kindness pledge, highlighting the great work that's out there and inspiring new volunteers to come forward to see the positive impacts that helping others can bring.
