Space: God, The Universe and Everything
St Bees: The light district
Thursday 14 to Friday 15 March, 6pm - 9pm each night
The second Light District show of the year will be hosted by St Bees Priory Church just next month!
SPACE: God, the Universe and Everything is inspired by the 1969 Moon landings. Created by the award-winning Luxmuralis [
] artistic collaboration, it will take people on a walking journey through St Bees Priory, revealing the universe, galaxies, space, creation, and light through a variety of sound and light installations that will transform the Priory.
Following the light show, you can find some food/producer stalls over the road at St Bees School.
The Light District builds on the success of Carlisle City of Lights and Workington Hall Lights which have both been hugely popular over recent years.
There will be time slots between 6.30pm and 9pm each evening.
Tickets are available from the Carlisle Tourist Information Centre (01228 598596), The Beacon Museum, Whitehaven [
], St Bees Post Office and online via Skiddle [

A little bit of history about St Bees..
St Bees is a well known village on the coast of Cumbria, mostly recognised for its amazing beach! But there's much more to the area along side the impressive coastal views.
History talks are planned to take place in one of the gazebos on St Bees School grounds.
This event is organised by Cumberland Council, supported by funding from the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, working in partnership with Luxmuralis to showcase SPACE – God, The Universe And Everything.
The event is also organised with the support of St Bees Parish Council, St Bees School and Sellafield Ltd.
