Local Offer Consultation
*Following feedback from parents and carers, we are currently working to improve Cumberland Council's SEND Information Hub (Local Offer). [
] The Local Offer is a statutory requirement for every Local Authority.
*
*A consultation is a formal process to ask a specific audience for their thoughts and views on something. We want your support to make our Local Offer the best resource it can be!*
Local Offer Consultation
In this survey, we will ask some questions about Cumberland Council's SEND Information Hub (Local Offer). We will also ask you please to visit some other council's Local Offer websites, and tell us what you like and dislike about each. This will not be in too much depth - we don't expect you to visit every page on each Local Offer! We will mainly ask questions around colours and images used, and the organisation of the website.
We will ask what works well on these sites and what doesn't work so well. This will allow us to consider our options for improvement with concrete examples of alternative websites and preferences, rather than just asking what currently works well and doesn't work well on the Cumberland Council Local Offer.
We would really appreciate as many responses as possible on this consultation - we want to ensure the Local Offer is an accessible and easy-to-use resource for you and your family.
*Take the Local Offer feedback survey and give your views in our consultation!* [
