*Childcare Code validation deadline is imminent*
The next phase of the childcare expansion is almost here which means that from the 1st September, eligible working parents will be starting to access up to 15 hours of funded childcare per week for their children aged 9 months onwards.
Thank you for all your hard work in helping to prepare for this stage of the roll out.

CPD and Training
*FREE offer from Speech and Language UK*
Speech and Language UK are offering a monthly, free 2 part ‘Social communication’ online workshop.
This training has been written with Family Hub and the wider workforce in mind and is primarily for people who work with families. The workshops will give ideas on how to support families in the home with speech, language and communication, including supporting typical development.

Speech and Language UK are also about to start delivering a much more in depth training package for practitioners in Early Years settings specifically about supporting children with social communication differences – we will share further information when this is available.
