The Homeless Accommodation Officer Team is responsible for finding and placing homeless households into temporary accommodation in accordance with the council’s statutory homelessness and suitability duties. You will match households to suitable placements and carry out sign-ups, explaining the type, location and cost of the accommodation to ensure their obligations are clearly communicated and understood.

Homeless Reviews Officer
£40,250 - £42,788 per annum
Our Homeless reviews officers are responsible for the statutory independent reviews function in relation to the Housing Act 1996 (as amended) Part VII homelessness decisions, and all related activity including responding to JR threats, requests for Interim accommodation and appeals to the county court, ensuring that decisions are consistent with the council’s statutory responsibilities. They also play an integral part in the training and coaching of other team members.
