The landmark event is hoping to inspire budding engineers with an enhanced STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) Village on the beach.

As only a limited number of spaces are available, we advise registering interest early to avoid disappointment. Email Lauren Excell, Events Officer, at lauren.excell@bcpcouncil.gov.uk.

James Cope, Marketing Manager for Parvalux Electric Motors Ltd, said: "Exhibiting within the STEM village is an exciting part of our show calendar. We get to meet 100’s of people from all ages and backgrounds who are genuinely interested to find out what we do. It is a great event to share what Parvalux does and engage young minds to stimulate their interest in STEM careers."
We are also hosting a Business Expo for all sectors with the opportunity for 30 businesses to engage with the thousands of visitors who head to the festival each year.

Dorset based Engineering and Manufacturing businesses will once again be invited to attend a breakfast on the beach event on Friday 30 August. Inspiring speakers and the chance to network with other businesses within the sector will be on the agenda. More details to follow. Any queries, please email Michelle at DorsetEMC@bcpcouncil.gov.uk

There are lots of sponsorship and advertising opportunities available for the weekend, view the sponsorship prospectus on the Air Festival website.

📢 Bowl Cancer Awareness month
Dorset Cancer Partnership and Wessex Cancer Alliance are launching a bowel cancer campaign and are looking for help to reach businesses across the county to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of bowel cancer, and the importance of seeking advice from your GP, if you have any concerns.

Bowel Cancer is the fourth most common cancer in the UK. About 43,000 people are diagnosed with bowel cancer each year. If it is detected early, treatment is more successful and there is a good chance of recovery. It is important that you go to your doctor, with any signs or symptoms so they can help to rule out bowel cancer.

You can also register to attend an online Bowel Cancer Awareness Talk on Wednesday 24 April where a volunteer from Bowel Cancer UK will be delivering a presentation.
