A swashbuckling Easter trail, some egg-citing Easter crafts, and some hopping good fun will keep the whole family entertained across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole this Easter.
With seven miles of golden sand and loads of parks waiting to be explored, there's no shortage of outdoor adventures to embark on. But don't forget, there are also plenty of indoor activities to enjoy during the school holidays. So, dust off your bucket and spade, grab your wellies (just in case!), and come out for some fun! 🎨🍃🎡🐚🐶🤸🏽♀️

World Autism Acceptance Week - 2 to 8 April
Autistic people face discrimination and barriers across all sectors of society. It’s crucial that autistic people, and their families and carers, can access tailored information, guidance and support to overcome those barriers, along with opportunities to explore their interests, develop skills and build friendships for fulfilled lives.
National Autistic Society (NAS) is bringing back the colour theme for 2024! #AutismAcceptanceWeek
If you are looking for local support, please contact Umbrella Group, which is a local parent-led group run by volunteers. They usually meet from 10am to 12:30pm on the fourth Saturday of the month, but this can vary due to school holidays. Stay updated on future meetings by clicking the link below.

🧠 New Dorset neurodiversity hub
NHS Dorset have launched the Dorset neurodiversity hub which signposts to a wide range of support, including peer support groups, local and national charities, online advice and guidance, and professional support.
The hub also features articles and blogs written by members of Dorset’s neurodivergent community, and video interviews with neurodivergent people and their families.
It has been developed as part of NHS Dorset’s All Age Neurodevelopmental Review, which identified a need for better information about support for people with neurodevelopmental conditions, particularly those living with autism and ADHD.

🤝🏽 BCHA support to young people
Do you know a young person who cannot find work, has lost a job, has dropped out of school or college, or is at risk of doing so?
BCHA’s free 1624 course can help. The programme includes free life skills sessions incorporating cooking, budgeting, communication skills, wellbeing and employability support to help young people reduce anxiety, create an impressive CV and be comfortable and confident in interviews.
The course is open to BCP residents aged 16 to 24 and provides intensive bespoke weekly coaching.
Aimed at improving wellbeing, life and communication skills - and ultimately routes into training and employment, this course can be empowering to young people. One to one sessions from friendly coaches and small group workshops are available in Bournemouth, Poole and Boscombe and public transport expenses are paid. Funds are also available for interview clothes and short courses.
Empower a young person you know today by sharing this opportunity with them.
