👮🏽♂️Working with Dorset Police in response to protests
We are working with Dorset Police and partner agencies to ensure robust plans are in place to deal with reports of public disorder and reiterate that any form of hate will not be tolerated.
Councillor Millie Earl, Leader of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council, said: “The safety of our communities remains the priority for BCP Council, and I would like to reassure residents that we are working closely with Dorset Police and other partners to monitor the situation and ensure we are prepared for any potential activity and that we are in dialogue with our residents, businesses, visitors and faith groups to provide advice and support."

Businesses and organisations in Bournemouth Town Centre are uniting in a pledge to protect the safety of women and girls🤞.
The Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) Unity Promise aims to enhance the safety and inclusivity of women and girls working with local businesses, organisations, and communities in the town centre, helping to create a united front.
As part of the pledge, businesses are given the tools and support to build a safer environment in their own venue as well as the wider town centre.

Christchurch Recycling Centre temporary closure
Christchurch Recycling Centre will be closed for essential works from 27 August to 3 September.
Please use Bournemouth Recycling Centre or Poole Recycling Centre during this time. We apologise for any inconvenience.
Following this closure, the current site opening hours will not be affected, so from Tuesday 3 September, Christchurch Recycling Centre will be open seven days a week from 9am.
