Reading Well with Dementia book collection launches
Reading Well for Dementia
A new *Reading Well for Dementia* scheme has just launched to support people living with dementia, their carers and their family members. The scheme offers quality-assured, evidence-based reading recommendations from healthcare professionals.
Reading Well for Dementia promotes understanding and helps to break down stigma around dementia. Some of the recommended books provide information and advice; there are also personal stories and children’s fiction.
You can browse the full booklist [

The Midnight Feast
Lucy Foley
Guests gather for the opening of The Manor hotel, the new jewel on the Dorset coastline. The champagne is flowing, the guest list sparkling, the sun setting on an unforgettable summer solstice. But under the cloak of celebration, something dark is stirring. The Manor has a secret history; built in the shadows of an ancient wood. Now old friends and enemies are creeping out of the shadows. And they'll soon discover what other deadly secrets come out at night.

Jade Shaw has lost control of her life. Pushed around by her family, and taken for granted by her boyfriend, she knows that somewhere along the path to being an adult she's lost her way. The last place she expects to find answers is on the floor outside her flat. But there it is: a script. Containing her name, and her boyfriend's, and showing yet another excruciating argument in which he calls all the shots. The weird thing is: this argument hasn't happened yet. The row becomes reality. Jade feels more frustrated than ever. Then more scripts appear; infuriating scenes in which Jade's boss, mum, and bridezilla sister walk all over her. The future is painfully familiar. But it's not a future Jade likes. Is it too late for her to re-write the script?
