*Our digital family hub is now live!*
family hubs digital offer
We have launched our new digital family hub - dedicated to sharing all the help, support and information that families need if they cannot access a physical family hub in the borough.
Family hubs offer a broad range of services both in physical buildings and online, including:
* Midwifery appointments, health checks, breastfeeding, weaning and nutrition advice, early years play education and sensory development
* Support from health visiting and school nurse teams
* Tailored and intensive support for families who may need a little extra help
* Family help and support for children with disabilities or additional needs
* Practical support around finance, housing and supported learning
* Youth support services
* Mental health support for children, young people, families and new parents
Over the past twelve months we’ve already opened five physical family hubs [
] across the borough and are looking to develop further outreach provision through family hub ‘connect’ sites – offering the opportunity for more in-person support.
Family hubs bring council, health and community services together, so that families with children and young people can access the right help and support, at the right time. The support is available for children and young people from birth up until the age of 19 (or 25 for those with special educational needs).

Get ahead of roadworks and travel disruption
road closed
Roadworks take place for different reasons across the borough, for example to enable the council's roads to be maintained or for utilities and development companies to carry out their works.
Did you know? You can view current and upcoming *planned* roadworks, road closures and other traffic disruptions in Cheshire East on our website [
] - where you can review them on an interactive map or in a table.
How we let you know about upcoming roadworks
We tell all road users about planned closure dates and times by using temporary road signage and information posted on our website. We also contact residents and business that fall within the closure to let them know as much information as possible.
We cannot give advance notice for unplanned work such as emergencies.
Our Twitter feed [
] will cover emergency or *unplanned* disruption that we are aware of.
