Our customer service centre will only be available for emergency calls *this Easter weekend*. If your call is urgent and relates to homelessness, a noise nuisance, damage to our parks, reporting a stray dog, or another emergency, call *01245 606606* to be put through.
Our team will be available for all other phone queries *from 8.45am on Tuesday 2 April 2024*. If you're visiting us in person, the Civic Centre will reopen from 10am on 2 April.

There is no change to waste and recycling collections over the Easter period. *Kerbside collections will take place on your usual bin day*. Check your recycling calendar or look up your collection dates on our website.

Springfield Road closure
From *Tuesday 2 April until Sunday 26 May *a road closure will affect a section of *Springfield Road northbound* between the *Tesco Delivery/recycle centre service road and Navigation Road junction*. A diversion route will be in place. Temporary traffic lights will also manage flows travelling *southbound *and at the *Navigation Road junction*.

Play in the Park returns next week
The popular Play in the Park returns this Easter with free activity sessions for children *aged **3–11* running from *Wednesday 3 to Friday 12 April*, in various public parks across Chelmsford and SWF. Varied activities include arts and crafts, face painting, and inflatables!

A12 closures in April
There is a full closure planned of the *A12 northbound* carriageway between *junctions 12* (Brentwood) and *15* (Three Mile Hill/Webb’s Farm Interchange) from *9pm* *on Friday 5 April* *to 5am* *on* *Monday 8 April.* A clearly signed diversion route will be in place. The southbound carriageway will remain open during this period.

The initiative encourages children to discover the county’s fantastic museums and heritage venues by collecting a unique badge from each participating venue.
