Local takeaway prosecuted for hygiene contraventions
A Chinese takeaway in Goat Hall was ordered to pay *£13,000* in charges after the business owner pleaded guilty to failing to comply with Food Safety and Hygiene Regulations. Council inspectors found several contraventions, including a lack of protection against contamination, particularly pest control.

Junior doctors’ strike begins this weekend
