Play in the Park opens for bookings
The school holidays are fast approaching, which means the *return of Play in the Park*! 70 *free activity sessions* will be held at 19 community and parish venues across Chelmsford, from *24 July until 23 August*.
A variety of fun activities will be available at each session and residents can attend as many as they wish. Whether you choose to stay local or use Play in the Park as an opportunity to visit areas across the district, you’re bound to find things to do that your kids will love. Attending the sessions is free, but you must book before arrival, as each venue has a limited capacity.

Protecting Peregrines talk at Chelmsford Museum
On *Thursday 18 July* Chelmsford Museum welcomes peregrine experts Peter Merchant and Michael Padmore for a talk to coincide with the museum’s ‘Restless Brilliance’ exhibition. They'll discuss how the peregrine has adapted to the industrial sites of East Anglia and share stories about their own work protecting these majestic birds.

Free lunchtime concerts all year round

Ford RideLondon 2024 took place *24**–26 May* and the organisers, London Marathon Events, want feedback from residents, businesses, and organisations in hosting areas. Their survey takes around 5 minutes to complete and the information gathered will be used to develop the event for the 2025 edition taking place on *Sunday 25 May.*
