Picnic in the Park is back for 2024!
*FREE activity days* for *5- to 11-year-olds,* running every day from *Monday 29 July to Friday 2 August.*
Families can enjoy the first week of the summer holidays with our friendly team at *Melbourne Park, Chelmsford:* *play, create, and take part in fun sports, games, arts, and crafts! *
It’s like our *Play in the Park sessions [
]*, but with a real *festival feel* and amazing activities.
We’ve got *face painters and glitter tattoos artists*, a *scooter and skateboarding workshop*, a *smoothie bike* workshop, *magic shows,* a *balloon modelling experience*, and *inflatable bouncy castles*.

New for this year is *a nerf battle arena *and to really* get that adrenaline pumping, a 7-metre climbing wall!*
We’ll have food trucks and an ice cream van on site all day, so you can stay for lunch or bring your own, and really *Picnic in the Park*!.
Sessions are suitable for all, including those with additional needs.
* *Tickets are available on a first come first served basis, so don’t miss out!*
* *We have a limited number of FREE lunches available for children who are eligible for pupil premium.* There’s a range of hot and cold meals including pasta pot, hotdogs, pizza, and snacks.
