If you attended V Festival in Essex, then you’ve visited Hylands Estate! Of course, we look slightly different without the tents and music stages, but it’s a great example of how easy and memorable it is to get to us.
We are located near the centre of Chelmsford and situated only a few minutes from the A12. Chelmsford railway station is a quick 35-minute journey from London Liverpool Street station.

Most recently, we have hosted large events such as Creamfields South, FriendsFest, and RiZe Festival, as well as popular shows The National Flower Show and All About Dogs with Aztec Events.
We can host events as intimate as a candlelight orchestra on the back lawn of Hylands House, or as big as the tour of Foodies Festival.
You can choose from an area of the park that is secluded from the rest, or take over an entire section. Our estate roads are accessible across all 574 of parkland.

We take applications on our website for large event hires and ask that you are as prepared as possible to complete the application form. We will ask for the following:
* An exact description of what your event is and its purpose.
* Full schedule of activity from start to finish
* If the event is a repeat of a previous event, details of that event and any changes.
* Any other information that you think would be relevant to your application.
* An Events Management Plan if applicable.
