Local gardening project continues to grow thanks to a Charnwood Community Grant
Friends of Mountsorrel Castle Gardens
Photo shows, Cllr Liz Blackshaw, the Council's lead member for neighbourhoods and communities with Council officers and volunteers at Mountsorrel Castle Gardens.
A local park in Mountsorrel is being revitalised with the help of a Charnwood Community Grant.
The Friends of Mountsorrel Castle Gardens have been awarded £970 to support the cost of replanting the main entrance flower beds at Mountsorrel Castle Gardens.
The open space, which is owned by Charnwood Borough Council is one of 16 projects to be supported by the Council in its latest round of grants funding with a total of £40,000 awarded to groups.
