Hop down to a pop-up measles vaccination clinic this Easter
MMR vaccine
Where: Loughborough Market Place (outside Halifax) Swann Street, Loughborough, LE11 5BS
Date: Saturday 30 March 30, 2024
Time: 8:30am – 4:30pm
This Easter get your family protected against measles by coming along to the NHS walk-in measles vaccination clinic being held in Loughborough on Saturday March 30.
Due to the recent rise in the number of measles cases in Leicester and Leicestershire, the NHS are urging everyone to check whether they, and their children, are fully up to date with both doses of the MMR vaccine.
If you are unsure whether you or your family have been vaccinated, please check your online GP record or your child’s red book in the first instance, otherwise contact your GP practice.
Measles can spread quickly among those who are unvaccinated and can cause serious complications especially in young children, pregnant women and those with weakened immune systems. The MMR vaccine is the best way to protect children, families and our communities from measles.
There are a range of opportunities to get vaccinated in LLR for those who are either unvaccinated or have only had one dose of the vaccine.
