Guided walks
Explore the borough on foot with Active Charnwood’s countryside walks
The Active Charnwood team, in partnership with Fusion Lifestyle, run a programme of guided walks in and around Charnwood. The walks cater for a variety of abilities and are available to people of all ages.
Upcoming walks include:
Watermead Park Walk
A five-mile walk taking in all of Watermead Country Park on Tuesday February 20, 10am until 12pm.
Swithland Reservoir and Woodhouse Fields
A five-and-a-quarter mile circular walk from Quorn to Woodhouse and back, taking in a short detour to Swithland reservoir. Takes place on Thursday March 7, 10am until 12.30pm.
