Charnwood creative competition for tenants of all ages
Charnwood Creative Competition
Drawing, painting, creative writing, photography, arts and crafts, poetry… if you are a creative person and would like to showcase your work, why not enter the Charnwood Creative Competition for 2024?
The competition is open to all ages and entries are open until *March 31, 2024*.
The theme of the competition is: *Home*.
We ask that your creative works are inspired by your home or where you live whether that’s your town, your village or Charnwood as a whole.
Categories
* *Creative writing – under 10 years*
* *Creative writing – 11-18 years*
* *Creative writing – over 18 years *
* *Photography, arts and crafts – under 10 years*
* *Photography, arts and crafts – 11-18 years*
* *Photography, arts and crafts – over 18 years*
There will be one winner and two runners-up in each category, with £50 in high street vouchers for the winners and £25 for each runner-up.
Entrants will have their work displayed at the tenant networking event taking place at Loughborough Town Hall in June 2024.
Winners and runners up will be featured in the summer 2024 issue of Your Homes Matters.
To apply online, submit your entries and upload your writing, photos or artwork at * [

If you would like to submit original artwork please email the customer engagement team for an application form at *involvement@charnwood.gov.uk*
and we can arrange to come and collect your artwork.
We will ensure that any original artwork is returned to the artist.

* Entrants must be a council tenant or leaseholder;
* You can apply for as many categories as you like;
* Creative writing entries must be under 500 words;
* Content must be appropriate – no swearing or sexual content.
