Congratulations - You've recycled one million coffee pods!

Since January, through the kerbside coffee pod collection scheme we introduced across Central Bedfordshire, you have recycled over one million coffee pods! That's a lot of Flat Whites, Americanos, and Cappuccinos.


So far, over 6,000 households have signed up to the Podback scheme, helping remove over 15.5 tonnes of coffee pods from the waste stream. That’s thirsty work!

If you haven't signed up yet, don't worry, there's still time. 


Simply:

  • Sign up for a Podback account

  • Fill the free bags you receive with used pods

  • Place them on your bin come collection day

  • Reorder more bags as and when needed

  • For full details visit our website.  If you live in flats, things are a little different; a drop off service is available.

You clip, we’ll collect


For £55 per bin, join our garden waste collection subscription service. 

Our crews will empty your bin fortnightly, throughout the growing season.
