Summer of SEND: Preparing for Adulthood

17 - 28 June

Following our co-produced Summer of SEND held last year in July  2023, SNAP Parent Carer Forum (SNAP PFC)  told us that families would also like preparing for adulthood information sessions on Benefits, moving to Higher Education and Access to Work.

As a result of this feedback, we are delighted to announce that we have secured guest speakers to provide information sessions on these subjects, along with webinars from colleagues in education, health and care covering relevant areas of preparing for adulthood.

This year, the PFA Summer of SEND will run across two weeks  from Monday 17 until Friday 28 June and includes online workshops for parent/carers living in Central Bedfordshire, who have young people with special educational needs or disabilities aged from 14 to 25-years old.

Spaces are still available.
