Waste collections do not change


We will be collecting waste as normal on Monday, 6 May and for the rest of that week. If you need a reminder of your bin collection day, you can find this on our website.

We have over 1000 hectares of countryside which we manage for public access and wildlife. Our sites are managed in-house by our Countryside Sites Team, or in partnership with the National Trust, Greensand Trust and Wildlife Trust.

Our website has a number of walking routes in Central Bedfordshire. There are plenty of routes to choose from. Whether it's a gentle one-mile stroll around Flitton Moor or an enthusiastic 40 miles on the nationally acclaimed Greensand Ridge Walk.

Garden waste subscription service

Find out how to subscribe


For continued kerbside collection of your garden waste you will need to register for our new subscription-only service at a cost of £55 per bin (1 April 2024 – 31 March 2025).  


Once subscribed, we’ll collect your garden waste fortnightly between now and December, and then resume collections from late February to the end of March 2025.
