Local children’s author Laura Noakes will be visiting her childhood library in Potton to do chat to children and sign copies of her second book Cosima Unfortunate Foils a Fraud.


Cosima Unfortunate Foils a Fraud is a warm, funny, exciting and empowering tale of friendship, family and mystery, with joyous and authentic disabled representation 


Copies of the book will be available to buy or feel free to bring along your own copy for signing. This is a free drop in event.

Crime authors Rachael Blok and Heather Critchlow

Join local crime author Rachael Blok talking about her psychological crime series set in the cathedral city of St Albans and her new mystery book, Five Nights that is set on a cruise ship. (written under the name Rachel Wolf)


Want to enjoy Rachael's books before the event - reserve one here (note these books don’t need to be read in order)


In an extra bonus for the evening Rachael will be joined by another local crime author Heather Critchlow. Heather’s debut novel Unsolved was shortlisted for the Bloody Scotland Debut Prize and is the first in a series about true crime podcaster Cal Lovett.  Unsolved and the second book in the series Unburied are available to download as ebooks on Libby.


Tickets cost £5 (concessions £3) and are available to buy from the library.

Books will be available to buy for signing on the night (please bring cash or your library card)


Crime author Susan Sachon

Author talk at Toddington Library

Wednesday 10 July

Susan Sachon is a local author from Toddington who will be conducting a talk at Toddington Library on Weds 10 July at 7pm about her debut thriller  ‘So Now Go Tell.’ The book is set in a Tudor pub, which is inspired by the Oddfellows Arms next door to the library itself. Susan’s experience as an actor and director at the local theatre TADS has also shaped the characters within the book.


Tickets cost £5 (concessions £3) and are available to buy from the library. Susan will be selling and signing copies of ‘So Now Go Tell’ at the event.
