Gritting run at 7pm

The first part of the afternoon will see further cloud and showers, some of these heavy. However, showers will tend to die out through the rest of the afternoon as skies brighten up.
This evening and tonight will become largely dry with extensively clear skies and just a few areas of patchy low cloud, mist and fog building in during the early hours.
Road surface temperatures are expected to drop below freezing, which means we will do a full gritting run at 7pm.
