Bedfordshire FA awarded management contract for Creasey Park Community Football Centre

Following an open procurement process, the Bedfordshire Football Association (Beds FA) has been successful in its bid to manage the Creasey Park Community Football Centre, located in Dunstable, which we own.

The contract commenced on 1 April 2024 for nine years during which the Beds FA will be responsible for the management and ongoing development of the Centre.

The contract encompasses the management of two floodlit artificial 3G pitches, the main grass pitch with stadium, as well as seven other grass pitches catering for youth to adult level teams. Additionally, the Centre features a clubhouse complete with changing rooms, bar and café areas which, alongside a BMX track, provide a comprehensive sporting experience for the local community.

Since 2011, Dunstable Town Council has managed the Centre, establishing Creasey Park as one of the premier football centres in the local area. Through collaborative efforts with key stakeholders and community groups, the facility has evolved into a vibrant community hub, serving as the proud home ground for local football clubs, Dunstable Town FC and AFC Dunstable.

Looking ahead, the Beds FA is dedicated to further enhancing the Centre’s offer to better serve the community. Plans are already underway to introduce a girl’s academy to add to the existing woman’s teams; underscoring Beds FA's commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity within the local sporting landscape.

The Beds FA will build on the existing relationships and collaborate closely with stakeholders and community partners to ensure the continued growth and development of Creasey Park Community Football Centre as a thriving community hub.
