Free Import and Export Training
International Trade Training Eng
This course is open to any business of any size that has a product or service they would like to sell internationally. It is also suitable for those importing products for the first time.
The course is funded and is in collaboration with Caerphilly Council’s International Trade Department and The Institute of Export & International Trade (IOE&IT)
The course details are as follows and will run over a 6-month period starting in March 2024 and will be hybrid in nature (a mixture of virtual training, f2f 121 sessions and some classroom sessions at CCBC’s Tredomen offices).
1. An initial 121 discussion with the programme manager from the IOE&IT either f2f or virtually. 30 mins
2. An introductory virtual webinar to meet your fellow cohort businesses and be introduced to the programme. 45 mins
3. An introduction to International Trade, overview, challenges, and opportunities. 60 mins
4. Workshop 1 – Introduction to Exporting. 3 hours
5. Workshop 2 – Introduction to Importing. 3 hours
6. 121 Review and action planning with signposting to other resources such as Business Wales (Welsh Gov) and DBT Wales. 30 mins.
Once the course is completed you will be issued with a certificate of completion for your records/CPD.
