Hands On Heritage Day returns this May, bringing a variety of fun and free activities from heritage groups and organisations from across the county.
Visit local and family history stalls, browse the books for sale, explore pop-up museums, and view old Nottinghamshire photographs, maps and more.
The D.H. Lawrence Birthplace Museum is also joining the event as one of the pop-up museums.

Military To March Through Stapleford For Freedom Parade
Saturday June 29 2024, 11.00am, Stapleford Town Centre
Freedom Parade
Stapleford will witness a historic event as soldiers and veterans from the Royal Engineers Works Groups march through the town centre to exercise their Freedom of the Borough and celebrate Armed Forces Day. This parade is also part of Broxtowe's 80th Anniversary commemorations of D-Day. Join us in cheering on our Army heroes!
