Responses to our Parks and Open Spaces consultation can help to guide improvements to green spaces across the Borough.

Last year, you said: Queen Elizabeth Park in Stapleford could use more toddler equipment.

We did: We took on your feedback and completed improvements at this site, including the addition of a range of exciting new toddler play equipment.

The survey only takes a few minutes and asks you to tell the Council how you feel about selected local parks and open spaces by providing ratings on signage, cleanliness, facilities and the approach to nature and wildlife.

Don’t miss this chance to share your ideas and shape the improvements we implement before the survey closes on 30 August 2024.

Chetwynd: The Toton and Chilwell Neighbourhood Plan

image

Following a successful referendum on 2 May, Broxtowe Borough Council resolved to ‘make’ (adopt) the Chetwynd: The Toton and Chilwell Neighbourhood Plan at its meeting of the Full Council on 15 May 2024.

Planning applications in the Chetwynd: The Toton and Chilwell Neighbourhood Area must be considered against the Chetwynd: The Toton and Chilwell Neighbourhood Plan, as well as existing planning policy.

Broxtowe Borough Council has produced a ‘Decision Statement’ which sets out further information in relation to this decision. The Neighbourhood Plan, Decision Statement, and other related documents are available on the Council’s website.

For further information, please contact the Council’s Planning Policy Team on 0115 917 3015 / 3452 or via email at policy@broxtowe.gov.uk.
